Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-03-12
1. Scope
These Terms of Service govern the use of Privra, a software-as-a-service platform for private file processing tools. By subscribing or using the service, you agree to these terms.
2. Provider
The service is provided by Privra. Contact: support@privra.de.
3. Contract Formation
A contract is formed when you complete the subscription checkout via Stripe. You will receive a confirmation email. The subscription is billed monthly and renews automatically until cancelled.
4. Prices & Payment
All prices are displayed inclusive of applicable VAT. Payment is processed monthly via Stripe. If payment fails, we may suspend access after a reasonable grace period and written notice.
5. Service Description
Privra provides a dedicated, isolated instance of file processing tools (PDF, image, conversion, etc.) accessible via your custom domain. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance.
6. Liability
Privra is liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence. For slight negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damages and only for breach of material contractual obligations. Liability for data loss is limited to the effort required to restore data from proper backups. These limitations do not apply to injury to life, body, or health.
7. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Upon termination, your instance and all associated data will be deleted within 30 days.
8. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer within the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply in addition. For disputes with consumers, the competent courts at your place of residence apply.
9. Online Dispute Resolution
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated and generally not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
